Off to Switzerland - July 28 2012

 3: 30 PM, Waiting at Cochin for the Mumbai Flight.
Our connection to Zurich on Swiss Air is scheduled at 00:30 hours tomorrow.
A long wait at Mumbai

 Jet Connect to Mumbai, is a budget airline. You have to pay for anything you consume.

Plenty of free seats.

Mumbai Zurich fllight.
Past mid way, over Europe, the first rays of the Sun gleams on the red  winglet of the Airbus 340 - 300 .
The National Flag of Switzerland is the  emblem painted on the winglet.

The flight set off just after  mid- night Mumbai time,
Swiss Air is one of the best air lines in business.
They do not fly to Cochin.
The ground staff at Mumbai is courteous and efficient.
Non- stop -  it flies to  Zurich in about 10 hours.

 I do not care much for the in flight entertainments in air lines,
Instead I constantly check where I am, a feature I really enjoy..
Here we are approaching the European continent.

 

We just landed in Zurich and the Captain announced over the public address system that the passengers could switch on the mobile phones.
The android app of my phone shows the Indian time, New York Time [our  final destination] and of course the local time.
